Since the adoption of the World Heritage Convention in 1972, the perception of what constitutes ‘heritage’ has undergone dramatic change. On Saturday 1st December, we are bringing together a diverse team of experts to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this significant convention and to consider the future of World Heritage in the UK and beyond. Join us!

Places at our World Heritage for Tomorrow international conference are filling up fast, but there’s still time to book your seat. Speakers include the Chair of English Heritage Baroness Andrews, UNESCO experts, top academics and heritage professionals. This one day event is jointly organised by ICOMOS-UK, The Open University, and the UCL Centre for Museums, Heritage and Material Culture and the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.
