Digital Past is an annual conference, organised by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW) which showcases innovative technologies for the data capture, interpretation and dissemination of heritage sites. The 2013 conference will take place from 20-21 February 2013, at The Shire Hall, Monmouth Wales, and its themes are Heritage Tourism and Digital Data Sets: Manipulation, Dissemination and Archiving. The conference is open to anyone working in, or studying, the archaeological, heritage, education or museum sectors, and aims to allow informal networking and exchange of ideas within a friendly and diverse audience made up of participants from commercial, public and third sector organisations.

The organisers are seeking submissions from those working in the areas outlined above in a research or operational capacity. Contributions can be made through formal presentations, seminars or workshops, or more informally through the ‘unconference’ session or a show stand. The deadline for the submission of papers, seminars and workshops is 26 October 2012. Decisions will be made and applicants notified by 16 November. Free registration for the event will be extended to those presenting a paper or seminar.
