The European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage (E-FAITH) is holding its 6th European Industrial Heritage Weekend in London from 26-28 October 2012.  There will be a guided walk to the Three Mills area in East London, a visit to the Kirkaldy Testing Museum in Southwark, and to Kew Bridge Steam Museum.  There will be presentations and discussions on the themes of

  • challenges facing industrial heritage sites and associations.
  • promoting international volunteer co-operation for industrial heritage preservation
  • exchange of ideas on restoration, raising capital and income, marketing, technical skills, training, safety and other aspects of running projects successfully

Registration fees are being kept as low as possible to allow even the smallest associations to send delegates.  For further information, see the E-FAITH website.
